The RINO Arts District is always leading the way for new urban ideas and accomplishments–today CoMAL, a commissary kitchen in TAXI, started serving Syrian food made by immigrants who are getting a new start in Denver. Every Friday, starting today, these mothers and daughters, under the guidance of one of Denver’s top chefs and the organization Focus Point, will prepare their authentic middle eastern recipes for the public. You have to get there early though because people are lining up out the door!
Read more about CoMALand all the great things happening in RINO next week when Denver I Love features a special interview with local developer Kyle Zeppelin. Have a great weekend and happy 80th birthday Mickey Zeppelin! Denver thanks you for making our city so cool!
Thank you for sharing this story — I am so excited to check this out on an upcoming Friday and support this idea — and these people!
